Gemini season is coming up quick, which means I will be celebrating another year of life soon. I am a true ENFP and the Peter Pan syndrome is so real. I don’t want to grow up. I’ve never wanted to grow up and it has made for some pretty depressing birthdays. I’ve cried every year on my birthday for the last decade, at least. Getting older is so scary to me, especially with the “when are you having babies??” question is seemingly constant.
This year I am consciously choosing to CELEBRATE and not be so depressed about getting older. Getting older is such a blessing and I am so lucky to live this amazing life of mine. I want to be grateful for it instead of feeling like I’m inching closer and closer to some sort of deadline.
Recently, I’ve had some sweet friends inquire about what I would like for my birthday. I am guilty of being one of those annoying people that’s like “NOTHING” in the past, but I am trying not to be anymore. Practical gifts are my love language, especially now that I’m on my debt free journey. It’s so disheartening to get someone a gift that they never use (my hubby is the biggest culprit of this … but I digress). So, I try NOT to be that person. In the spirit of all that, here is my inexpensive, practical, birthday wishlist for year 27!

1. Woven Camera Strap
My hubs was so sweet to gift me a wonderful DSLR for Christmas. I am obsessed with it and I feel it needs an adorable strap to really live its best life.
2. SipWell Stainless Steel Drinking Straws
I am one of those people that HAS to have a straw with my beverage. I was horrified when I learned that plastic straws are polluting the ocean and killing sea turtles. These stainless steel straws are a great way to say "no thanks" to plastic, while still getting my straw fix.
3. Eat Pretty Every Day: 365 Daily Inspirations for Nourishing Beauty, Inside and Out
I've heard so many great things about this book and it's got such a pretty cover!
4. Marc Jacobs Eau de Toilette Spray, Daisy Dream
I adore this fragrance and after a two year run, I'm almost out of my first bottle! I am super sensitive to perfume smells, but this one is light enough that it doesn't give me a headache.
5. Natural Vitality CALM Gummies
I really want to try these! I definitely need more magnesium in my diet and the effects on anxiety could be so beneficial!
6. Celavi Essence Facial Mask Paper Sheet Korea Skin Care Moisturizing 12 Pack
I have pretty dry skin and these masks have excellent reviews. Avocado anything is gold in my book!
7. Behrens 210 2-1/2-Gallon Steel Watering Can
I genuinely need this. I currently use a beverage pitcher to water all my plants and it is not efficient at all! This would definitely help take my gardening to the next level!
8. Reusable Beeswax Food Storage Wraps
Since it's just hubs and I, we usually have lots of leftovers. I would love to have these eco-friendly storage wraps to use in the place of plastic. They're also freakin' adorable as an added bonus.
9. ILIFE V3s Pro Robotic Vacuum
The practical gal's Roomba! I want one of these SO BADLY, especially now that we have the dog. My mother has one of the fancy Roombas and her floors are always spotless. This one is a bit more realistic price-wise for my debt-free journey.
