Last weekend, I posted on Instagram about how bored I am with our home’s aesthetic and how I am ready for another renovation project. J & I have been discussing installing hardwood floors, painting our cabinets, and installing new counter tops. While all of that is really exciting, I couldn’t help but feel a little sad, because we pulled off a really amazing low budget DIY renovation when we moved into this home in 2017. It wasn’t perfect and it was very low budget, but we put lots of blood, sweat, and tears into it and although it was difficult at the time, I look back on it fondly. This was one of the biggest DIY challenges I’ve personally tackled and replacing them will definitely be bittersweet.Read More
Happy 2019, friends! I feel like it’s already going by so quickly, I can’t believe we are on day 10! I hope it’s been wonderful for you so far. Happy 2019, friends! Whether you’re a resolutions gal or not, a new year is pretty exciting.

I am a huge fan of calendars for organizing, but it is so dang hard to find a dated printable calendar. So, I decided to make my own and wanted to share it with you all.
2018 is quickly coming to a close and I am equal parts excited and in disbelief. When I launched this blog in February, I had no idea that over 1,000 people would lay eyes on it. I am so humbled and thankful when anyone stumbles across this blog, so if you’re reading this THANK YOU. It really means the world to me.
Without further ado, here are my top posts of 2018:

You only leave it up for a short while, the trends change from year-to-year so it can get costly, and I rarely have guests or host any kind of gatherings so .. what’s the point? My dear sweet husband LOVES Christmas, however, and he gets excited about decorating every year. So, I push my grinch-ness aside just for him.Read More
